It's more than just netball..
About Me
Erin Burger.

I was first introduced to netball at the age of 8 and fell in love with the game instantaneously. Netball as a whole has not only taught me important life skills but also through national and international exposure and playing for various coaches I love to share what I have learned throughout the years.
Playing for the Proteas since age 19, I was privileged to represent the country in 125 test caps, by being involved in 4 World Championships and 3 Commonwealth Games. My coaching journey started in 2006 whilst I was doing my degree in Human Movement Sciences.
From 2011 I have been coaching full time, sharing my knowledge on court that I gained from experienced international coaches from the likes of Norma Plummer and Nicole Cusack.
My passion is making a difference in our approach and understanding of the game. I want to create an environment of continuity whereby I give insights and mentorship in a school environment. In my own development as player, I noticed that although the game aspect is important the way we train to be better netball players is not confined to the netball court. In my collaboration with Sports Science Lab (SSL) with a dedicated sport scientist, I have changed the way I think about training and development and together with SSL your school can enjoy the benefits of this holistic approach.
